Sandeep Soni is an Indian entrepreneur. He was born on 29th December 1981. Sandeep belongs to Jaipur, Rajasthan. He is now the CEO/Chairman of bglide.com. He has completed his schooling from S.K. School Sikar, Rajasthan and his graduation from Stani Memorial College of Engineering and Technology.

Sandeep always wanted to be an entrepreneur. He had a dream of doing something different; of being different from the crowd. He started his online business with just Rs. 3000. He continuously worked hard for 2 years but didn’t get any results. Today, his company has a turnover of 60 Crore Rs.

Lessons you can learn from Sandeep Soni:

1. Sandeep has no business background. His family, relatives, and friends criticized him for starting his own business. Still, he did not stop and started his journey with a mere 3000 Rs. For 2 years he did not earn a single penny still he kept on working. This is the attitude one should have while working on his/her dreams. Most people give up on their dreams because of multiple failures. People don’t understand that failing is a necessary part of the process. So don’t be ashamed and afraid of failures; learn to accept them. I have studied the lives of many successful people. I have found many successful people from different backgrounds, past or education but one thing that I have found common in all of their lives is that all of them have failed at least once.

2. Sandeep Soni started his company with just 3000 Rs. and through sheer hard work and persistence, made it into a company worth 60 Crore Rs. Snapdeal also started with just Rs. 1100. What you can learn from here is: to build a highly successful company; you need a good idea and a perfect execution, money doesn’t matter at all. ImagesBazzar, Oyo, Ola, all these companies were started with very little investment and are now worth are over 1 Billion Dollars. So, if you ever start your own company; instead of wasting your time finding investments, try to figure out how you can innovate and execute your ideas.

3. When Sandeep’s business was not profitable, his family forced him to join an MNC. Under the pressure of his family and relatives, he joined the company and started working a job. After working for one month; he was diagnosed with typhoid due to which he had to take a one month leave from his office. After recovering, he when he went to the office and found out that the company had fired him. With no option left; he started working on his dream and the rest is history. So, remember that if something bad happens in your life then it happens for a reason, rather than crying about it, move on and work hard on your dreams.

Conclusion:

Sandeep Soni had many reasons to give up. He neither had the money nor any experience in the business. His father was a government employee. For 2 years his startup didn’t work. He had to look after his family and wife. Despite all these reasons he kept on working and now he is living a life he once dreamed of.
