6 best ways to create opportunities in life

There might have been instances when your parents or your teachers would have told you that good things come to those who patiently wait for them, they say so, because they have never thought about creating opportunities in life. But, I think good things don’t come to those who wait. Instead, they come to those who go out, and find them or to those who go out and create new opportunities, good things happen to those who take responsibility to change their life themselves.

In this article I am going to share with you some tips on how to create opportunities in your life:

1. DO WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO:

When you are working for a purpose, you automatically find the right directions, and when you are in the right direction, opportunities always come searching for you. All the successful people such as Bill Gates, Michael Jordan, Johnny Depp were extremely passionate about their work and their passion helped them create an unwavering faith in whatever they were doing even in the most difficult circumstances which ultimately helped them succeed.

“The only way to do great work is to find out what you love to do. If you have not found it, then keep looking for it and don’t settle

 Steve Jobs

2. TAKE ACTIONS:

The problem with most people is not that they don’t have new ideas to work upon but they don’t take appropriate actions to turn their ideas into success.

Have you ever seen a video, read an article or a book about a great idea?

The answer is no because if someone knew about a great idea, he/she worked on that idea rather than sharing it with the world, whether it helped the person succeed is a different matter. So, never waste time just talking about your ideas rather take actions to reap success out of that idea.

3. GO OUT AND MEET NEW PEOPLE:

Get out of your home, workplace or your town and meet new people. Talk to new people and explore new ideas with them. Be creative, it will be a lot of fun and it will also teach you things that you never thought you would learn. Meeting new people and exploring new places will help you find out problems that people in your neighborhood, city or in other states face and these problems that they face will be your opportunities. You can explore new ways and ideas to solve those problems.

4. SEE PROBLEMS AS OPPORTUNITIES:

Everyone faces problems and many of them curse their lives for not being easy but only successful people see their problems as opportunities. Our subconscious mind has a tendency to see negativity or problems in every situation. So to change your life, you will first have to change your mindset.

Instead of looking at a problem and complaining about it, try to find out solutions to overcome that problem.

It doesn’t require a genius mind to find new ideas. An average mind who can find solutions for problems can discover many great ideas too.

Story of Bhavesh Aggarwal-The founder of Ola Cabs-

Bhavesh Aggarwal once rented a car from Bangalore to Bandipur and had a lasting bad experience.

The driver of that car stopped right in the middle of the road and started re-negotiating the whole deal. When Bhavesh refused to agree to his terms, the driver left him on the road. The entrepreneurial-headed Bhavesh, instead of whining about the situation or rather the problem, decided to solve it and he founded the Ola cabs and his estimated net worth is 238.5 million.

5. HAVE OPTIONS IN LIFE:

The biggest problem with today’s generation is that they think that there is only one path that they can take, they follow only the paths shown to them by their parents, friends or relatives and it is a recipe for disaster. Always try everything, try every path and keep all the doors open in your life. Try every option and opportunity that comes your way and then decide which path you want to take.

The success story of Jack ma-

Jack Ma applied 10 times in Harvard but was rejected every time. He applied for 30 jobs but got rejected every single time. When KFC came to China, 24 people applied, and 23 people were hired, and the one person who was rejected was Jack Ma. But, he keept on working and exploring new paths in his life and finally he achieved success.

Jack Ma is the founder of the E-commerce giant Alibaba and is a stakeholder at Alipay. He is now officially the richest man in China with an estimated net worth of $28.3 Billion.

6 CHOOSE THE BEST OPPORTUNITY:

If you apply the above-mentioned tips, you will have many opportunities at your disposal and now the next step towards achieving success is choosing the best opportunity from among the ones that you have. Let’s say: You have five opportunities in your life, then go for the opportunity which allows you to be yourself and helps you showcase your skills and talent. Go for the one that your heart chooses not the one that your mind does.

THE MESSAGE:-

You can create opportunities whether you are an actor, an athlete or an entrepreneur. Study new books, learn new things, try new things and gain experience in life. Be prepared for the opportunities that will come in your life. You will never get presented with new opportunities by sitting and watching TV or while wasting time on social media all day. If you are active and always on the lookout, you will always end up on the right place at the right moment.

“Opportunity does not knock, it presents itself when you beat down the door”
