SUCCESS IS NOT A CHANCE, IT IS A CHOICE
The choices you make daily, determine your future success: People say how can success be a choice? We cannot control what will happen to us. Yes, it is true; you cannot control all that will happen to you. But, how you respond to that situation is under your control.

People say how can success be a choice? We cannot control what will happen to us.
Yes, it is true; you cannot control all that will happen to you. But, how you respond to that situation is under your control.
There are three things that shape our life:
- Event
- Response
- Outcome
The event or the outcome is not in your hand, it is a chance. The response is in your hand so it is a choice. If you respond to the situation positively, then you may or may not succeed.
But, if you do not respond to the situation then you will definitely fail.
It is not the event that determines the outcome, it is your response to that event that does. If an event is bad and you respond positively then the outcome may be good or maybe bad. If the event is good and your response is equally good then definitely the outcome will also be good.
The fault is not in the stars:
The fault is not in your stars but in you. The problem is that you don’t want to accept your mistakes. You try to shift your burden on others.
The people who have had the wrong attitude and failed in their life blame their parents, teachers, stars, environment, and horoscopes.
They say I am held up because of all of these people and things!
You are the creator of your own destiny. The problem is not that you have weaknesses but it is that you are not working on overcoming your weaknesses. Whenever anything fails or something goes wrong you try to shift your responsibility. Take responsibility for your actions and say, I am in command!
Story of two brothers:-
Once there were two brothers. One was a drug addict and was unsuccessful while the other was a very successful businessman and was respected in society. Someone once asked both the brothers, “Each of you was brought up in the same environment but how come you are so different”? The first brother said, “My father was a drug addict and he beat my mother. So what do you expect me to be?” The second brother said, “When I saw my father taking drugs and beating my mother I made up my mind that I didn’t want to be like him”.
There are two types of people in this world: The first are the ones who find a problem with every solution and the second are the ones who find a solution to every problem. It is up to you, which type you want to be.
It’s your life, so it’s your responsibility:
In life, there will be obstacles, there will be problems but there will be a solution to those problems too. The greatest rewards usually come after the greatest obstacles. We must take responsibility for our success and our failures.
Some people always look for an excuse because they don’t want to take responsibilities in life. Losers always keep an excuse ready as a backup.
The message:-
If you want to be successful in life stop making excuses because excuses are only for losers, winners give results. Excuses are easy anyone can make one. But it takes efforts, courage, sincerity, and will power to produce the results. The condition you are in today is the result of the choices you made in the past. Your health, wealth, relations, school grades all these are the results of the choices you made in the past.
If success is about chance than lazy, unproductive, weak people and people with negative attitude will also be winners but they are not. The people who have courage, will power, persistence are the winners. So, true success is a matter of choice, not chance.
The way to activate the seeds of your creation is by making choices about the results you want to create. When you make a choice, you activate vast human energies and resources, which otherwise go untapped. All too often people fail to focus their choices upon results and therefore their choices are ineffective. If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise. –Robert Fritz
